The following is a partial list of the special enhancements of the Miksheh B Tefillin:
About the writing:

The name of G-d is written for the sanctification of G-d's name.
- Written according to the instructions given by Harav Mordechai Eliyahu Ztz"l and the Kabbalists.

Tagim, crowns on the letters, are added in accordance with the ruling of Shimusha Rabba.

Two crowns on the letter "ל" (lamed): one crown represents Chesed and one crown represents Din.

Meticulous writing.

Ensuring that the scribe writes his letters thick enough so that they don't deteriorate over time (very important).

Ensuring that the scrolls are written with the rulings of Maimonides (Pri Megadim, not Taz).
About the Batim:
-
The body of the Tefillin are constructed from thick hides and are made from one piece of hide with a thick bottom.

The compartments for the scrolls are manufactured so that there are no folds in the interior walls. (Shulchan Aruch Harav).

Gid, tendon, is placed between each of the interior walls, and an additional gid, this time from the outside, separates the compartments of the Head Tefillin (Tefillin shel Rosh).

The lines as seen from the Tefillin shel Rosh are straight, equal and true to the actual size of the compartments.

The protruding "ש" (shin), on the outside of the Head Tefillin, is completely pulled out by hand from the hide.

The twelve holes for stitching the Tefillin together are equally spaced.

Handmade straps, which are blackened on both sides (completely absorbed in black) , prevent them, G-d willing, from ever becoming white.
Tefillin specifications:
Batim size: 32- 35 mm square.
All the parchments, scrolls, are written by our qualified Sofrim, Scribes, on the parchment of unborn calves. All of our parchments undergo three levels of proofreading that checks for: accuracy of the form of the letters, no breaks in the letters and extra or missing letters or words. All the parchments also undergo a computerized scanning and check. All the parchments are categorized to the level according to Jewish law and to their Hiddur, beauty. IE: It is permitted by Halacha to join two pieces of parchment together in order to make one long parchment, for writing the long parchment of the Tefillin shel Yad (Arm Tefillin). However, these just don't look nice and therefore are not used in the HaYovel, Miksheh B or Odem brands of our Tefillin in Tefillin Beit El.
Additional Enhancements:
- The straps are manufactured from the top layer of highest quality hides (meaning: they are usually very soft).
- Hand strap length – 4.5 meters. (Enough for Og King of Bashan)
- Head strap length – 3 meters. (Enough for Sihon King of the Amorites too)
